day 14: what song makes you angry? band of horses - is there a ghost (i can’t stand this band and this song only exacerbates my hatred. i still don’t understand how something so awful could have been borne from my beloved carissa’s wierd)

day 15: what song makes you think of your childhood? the duck tales theme song (best cartoon theme song EVER.) (note the period within the last set of parentheses. i’m serious. there is no room for discussion.)

day 16: what song is your guilty pleasure? inxs - never tear us apart (i have no musical guilty pleasures, but i am willing to admit that i probably like the saxophone solo in this song more than most people should)

day 17: what song would you want played at your funeral? sunny day real estate - days were golden

day 18: what soundtrack for a movie is your favorite? the little mermaid, that shit is timeless!

day 19: what kind of music do you listen to when your riding around? anything that will keep me awake and won’t induce road rage

day 20: what song do you want played at your wedding? britney spears - toxic (i love this song, unironically so)

day 21: what song do you listen to when your heart is broken? ugly casanova - barnacles

day 23: what do you listen to while you study or work? any music lover should be offended by this question and i refuse to answer. (my refusal to answer this question led my friend to ask another question in its place: what song do you love by a band you hate? my answer: giving up the gun by vampire weekend [also: what a great question! i should refuse things more often.])

day 24: what song made you want to sing out loud today? i like to make up songs to sing to my beagle nephew. today’s inspiration was brought to me by the ohio players’ love rollercoaster.

day 25: what song has been stuck in your head all day? no song, just the sounds of autumn filling the air

day 26: what song made you turn the station as soon as it came on today? head and the heart - lost in my mind (what a terrible, awful, tasteless band. they sound like nothingness, and they make me want to weep for the seattle music scene)

day 27: what song is your ringtone? back when i had an iphone, it was arrested development’s closing theme song

day 28: if you could choose one song to never be played or heard again what would you pick? sublime - santeria (because it’s not so bad of a song that people refuse to play or listen to it. i had to choose a song so mediocre that its consistent radio airplay drives me crazy. sublime is a clear winner.)

day 30: what song makes you think of your best friend? super deluxe - she came on (oh, the good ol’ days!)
